Sisterhood Challah Fundraiser 2024



Order your challah and honey for the High Holy Days! Order your round challah (either raisin or plain) for $14 each and Mitzvah Garden KC honey for $12 each to help support synagogue programming throughout the year. In addition, we are taking orders for plain challah to be donated to Jewish Family Services.

Rosh HaShanah - Orders accepted through September 24

Challah pick-up for Rosh HaShanah will be on Tuesday, October 1, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm and Wednesday, October 2, from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

Yom Kippur - Orders accepted through October 3

Challah pick-up for Yom Kippur will be on Thursday, October 10, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm and Friday, October 11, from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

Payment may be made by credit card, or you may bill directly to your account (but you must be logged in). If you’d like to pay by check, please contact Susan Himmelstein at himmelsteins05@gmail.com, and she will work with you to set up your order. Please mail checks to Susan Himmelstein at 6509 Sagamore Road, Mission Hills, KS 66208 (before pick-up).
Any challah not picked up will be donated to JFS for each holiday.
