2023 Rosh Hashanah L'Behemot: A Bark Mitzvah

Just as we celebrate the new year of trees on Tu B'Shevat, there is also a Jewish tradition of celebrating the new year of domesticated animals (Behemot) during the Hebrew month of Elul. This year, we can all celebrate with our canine friends at the Mitzvah Garden KC's Bark Mitzvah! Bring your pet(s) for a pup-friendly celebration, which includes music, schmoozing in the Mitzvah Garden, a "Bark" Mitzvah ceremony honoring our canine friends and even puppy treats provided by Three Dog Bakery! Apples and honey will be available for the humans. This event is free of charge; open to the community, so invite your friends! 

With awareness of your pet's temperament, please plan accordingly. All (domesticated) pets welcome; please bring non-canine/feline pets in protective carriers to keep them safe!
