Artist in Residence: “Damaged Heroes: Midrash and Pop Culture Mythology”: A dynamic presentation and conversation between artist and rabbi, with thoughtful, humorous visuals. Isaac will open the weekend-long display of artwork in the kikar. In addition, this program will highlight historic papercuts from the Klein Collection. Isaac Brynjegard-Bialik cuts up comic books and reassembles them into papercuts that explore the stories of the Jewish people, connecting popular culture with sacred texts.
